Hypersensitivity to ambrisentan or any of the excipients.
Pregnancy.
Severe hepatic impairment (with or without cirrhosis).
Initial values of liver transaminases (aspartate aminotransferase [AST] and / or alanine aminotransferase [ALT]) exceeding 3 times the upper limit of normal (> 3 × ULN).
Idiopathic pulmonary fibrosis with or without secondary pulmonary hypertension.
